We include our AJS Gems electronic certificate with every gem we sell. This is your assurance that your gem is natural and exactly as described. These certificates include essential information about your gem, including size, weight, origin and any enhancements.
Many of our gems also include certificates from independent gemological labs, such as GemResearch Swisslab (GRS). But we offer optional certification for all our gems.
Certification by independent gemological laboratories plays a key role in the international gemstone trade, providing assurance to both buyers and sellers. As a dealer, we want to ensure that all the gems we sell are exactly as described, so we have samples of all our gems tested at independent gem labs.
You will find that many of our gems, especially larger rubies and sapphires, have certificates included when we offer them for sale. You can view the certificates online when you visit the detail pages for the relevant gems.
We have most of our gems ceritifed by GemResearch Swisslab (GRS) and the Gem & Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), two of the leading gemological labs in the world for colored gemstones. We also occasionally use other reputable laboratories in Bangkok, such as the Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences (AIGS).
