About Arnold Silverberg

 

Arnold Joel Silverberg, a Philadelphia born world traveler has spent more than 30 years in the gemstone and jewelry industry. After studying at university, Arnie moved west traveling throughout the American Indian reservations of the southwestern United States

Trading in turquoise gemstones and silver jewelry, rugs and pottery he soon became one of the largest dealers of American Indian jewelry in the United States, selling to a diverse clientele that included museums, department stores and retail shops.

This experience buying and trading in turquoise gems as well as fine collectibles served as a good foundation for a lifetime of travel dealing with exotic peoples throughout the world.
Next Arnie was to move even further west to Los Angeles, California. There he began to design and manufacture fine gold jewelry set with diamonds and precious stones for movie stars, rock stars, department stores and retail establishments.
This business eventually drew him even further west — across the Pacific Ocean to the Far East where he went in search of fine gemstones. This fascinating business soon caught his full interest and before you could say Burma ruby he was living in Thailand and traveling the world in search of the finest gemstones.
In the late 1970s, Arnie Silverberg moved to Los Angeles, California.
